how complicated was it to set up your soil lab? Expense? I have alot of different fields and would like to learn to do the testing myself. i have some soils background from college. It just bugs me to write those checks to a soil lab if i can do it myself.

I've actually had decent luck with the smaller home test kits, but I make sure to a) - test the water first for its pH and b) use some common sense

That said, this is an incredibly good page!
