With the near continual ice storms sweeping across the Northeast this winter, there's been no shortage of ice build up. The common consensus us that a properly pruned orchard tree won't take damage from an ice storm; do you find that to be true? How has your orchard faired so far this year and has the winter weather given you pause for the coming year?
Thanks!

I can't say that I have a real orchard, but even my overgrown apple trees have done well through the winter.
I have no limb loss, no tree death. All did well.
And the wind storm we had - we lost nothing off any of our trees. I was surprised.
