hello from central maine

I live on a small family farm in central maine. I heard about this site from a friend who stumbled onto it one night while surfing the web. We try to raise most of our own food here. At the presetn time we have a flock of laying hens, meat chickens, pigs and turkeys on the way. I'm currently looking for a couple of sheep to add into the mix. we also do a very large garden raising just about everything you can grow here in this climate.

I have two children one that has a very hard time digestisting preservites. that would be one of the big reasones for us getting into the homesteading.
