Hello from western NY

[Farmer Bob]

Hi everyone

Im a lifelong farm boy who has been around the business all my life. I helped out on my grandparents fruit farm as a boy. A little later in life, my uncle that had taken over the operation decided to give it up and I was just too young to take over. Additionally I was raised about 30 miles from the farm and didn't get to spend the time there that I really wanted.

Fortunately for me the first job I was able to get was at another local vegetable operation. That was 25 years ago and Ive been with them ever since. My position has grown over the years with the farm and now I more or less manage the 350 acre operation.

I also own a landscape and snowplowing operation in the area as well as having some dealings in greenhouse production.

Im very excited to have found this site and look forward to talking with all of you.
