KIOTI Tractor names Anthony Warren New Purchasing Manager

KIOTI Tractor – a division of Daedong Industrial Company Ltd – has recently announced the appointment of Anthony Warren as Purchasing Manager for their ever-expanding line of compact tractors and UTVs. Warren’s new position will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Wendell, North Carolina.

Most recently, Warren was a Commodity Manager/Team Leader for the North American Cranes Division of Terex where he developed sourcing strategies, commodity cost targets, supplier performance metrics and new product procurement procedures. Prior to Terex, he was a Supply Base Manager for John Deere Consumer & Commercial Equipment in Raleigh and a Strategic Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Commercial Products in Augusta.

All of these positions and experiences form a solid base from which Warren will develop new and improved systems and procedures within KIOTI to continue delivering top-of-the-line products to dealers and end users across North America at competitive prices. Of primary importance as the company experiences rapid growth in orders and product shipments, will be the development of an even more advanced Product Delivery System to ensure better throughput and faster turnaround of both whole goods and parts orders.

Another main goal will be to build and manage relationships with the KIOTI supplier network as product supply and demand continue to grow. Other responsibilities Warren will be responsible for is supply and demand planning, streamlining of purchase procedures and managing purchase price variances, inventory analysis and control and identifying the supply chain metrics.

For over 20 years, KIOTI has consistently grown both its product lines and market share across North America. They are continually expanding and improving their dealer network and constantly looking for creative ideas upon which to build their company.
