Default Market Gardening in NY

Hello, I found this site from a post on Homesteading Today. My husband and I have a 14 acre Farm in South Central New York. We have 100+ chickens and raise produce to wholesale and also to sell at three Farmer's Markets. Market season is just around the corner and we are preparing to start the 1000's of seeds necessary for our business. This is complicated by the fact we do not have a green house. Our dining room usually ends up our nursery. Our main crop is pickling cucumbers followed by beans, onions, tomatoes and peppers. We grow 1/2 acre of pumpkins and winter squash. Some specialty crops are tomatillos, jalapenos, and Okra. I look forward to meeting other Market Gardeners to share ideas, successes and failures.
Linda
