Placement for my son-in-law

Can anybody help me. I live in France and my son-in-law wants to learn about the way farms are run in the USA. As part of his Univesity course in Agricultural Engineering, he needs to spend about 4 weeks this July/August in another country. He is really interested in experiencing how you farm in the USA as the sheer size of your farms over there is something awe inspiring. He is 21 years old and extremely capable - he has been brought up in a farming environment.
