The Race is on in Central Maine
The Race is on here. Got our first sap run yesterday, today looks iffy, next week not looking too bad. We are going to be open for Maine Maple Sunday this year for the first time. Anyone who has been through it, I could use some advice. This is the first pulbicized opening of our farm. We all enjoy people and like to share our Farm with others, but usually on a 1 on 1 basis.

Exciting to hear! Thanks for keeping us updated on runs. I'd encourage others who are tapping to post when runs begin. I think here in parts of Northern Vermont there could be some runs this week, as temps hit 45F during the day and drop to the teens and 20s at night. Busy time for everyone now. Good luck with your run and have a GREAT time during the Maple Sunday!
