Vermont Maple King & Queen Contest Updated Information

We are looking for candidates to run for the Vermont Maple King and Queen contest. The royal pair will have the responsibility and enjoyment of representing the Green Mountain State’s signature product during their reigning year. The King and Queen are in attendance at most significant events where maple is a part of the occasion. With their maple knowledge they will help promote, publicize and educate the public at Fairs, Festivals, and Field Days. The Vermont Building at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Massachusetts is one of the places where the Maple King and Queen frequently play host and hostess.

The candidates are interviewed during the Vermont Maple Festival which is held in St. Albans, Vt., April 24-26. The winners will be announced at the Maple Banquet, which is held on Saturday night, April 25.

This is a great opportunity to travel, meet new people and promote Vermont Maple. Being chosen as a Vermont Maple King or Queen, and taking part in the activities throughout the year, is an experience that provides memories for a lifetime.
